Manufacturing Engineer SSD

Job description

  • Attend to troubleshoot activities in the Subsea Distribution (SSD) daily production and projects.
  • Interact with the global engineering team for QN Management, Procedural updates, Design Review (DR) Management, Technical discussions, and New product development.
  • Responsible for QN disposal from an Engineering standpoint.
  • Review, interpret, analyze, and circulate in-house raw material test reports and supplier reports.
  • Optimize processes and take full ownership of the process for SSD products.
  • Attend to troubleshooting for process improvement and rectification.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team for providing technical clarifications and justifications.
  • Coordinate with planning to understand forecast and execution strategy.
  • Review and approve process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, etc.
You are meant for this job if:
  • Must possess a clear understanding of general math and the ability to read, write, and comprehend English and Hindi.
  • Ability to comprehend technical drawings, BOM (Bill of Material), Operation Maintenance procedures, Quality Safety Documents.
  • Must be familiar with Subsea distribution products (UTA, Cobra head, Logic cap, HDM, SDU).
  • Must be familiar with API and ASTM codes.
  • Must be familiar with pressure codes and standards.
  • Thorough understanding of Subsea distribution product lines.
  • Thorough knowledge of Assembly and testing of subsea distribution product lines.
  • Clear understanding and working experience with measuring and monitoring tools (e.g., OD/ID meter, Hardness tester, PG/PT, Temperature gauges).
  • Exposure to shop floor environment is mandatory.
  • Clear application understanding of heavy-duty hydraulic equipment (e.g., Hydraulic Press, CNC Machine, Oven, Milling Machine, Crane, Material Handling Equipment).
  • Knowledge of PLC setup automation is an additional advantage.
  • Must be aware of Industrial safety standards.
  • Working knowledge of SAP roles for a process/manufacturing engineer.
  • Sound knowledge about material handling and Assembly Pressure Testing processes.
  • Working knowledge about lean implementation, VSMs, and shop floor digitization.
  • Bachelor s degree with 5 years of work experience in the industry or relevant work experience of 8 years in the industry with a diploma.
